Weddings
Names, date and monogram on a silk folding fan, ordered in bulk — one per guest.

Wooden folding fans with solid blades and no leaf, marked by laser engraving. No ink, nothing to peel or fade — the mark is burnt into the grain. This is the only material in the range that takes engraving across the full blade, which is why it reads as the premium option in a gift or press kit. Available in bulk at wholesale quantity breaks, with a free digital proof before anything is engraved.

Every supplier sells “wooden fans”; almost none says what the wood is. Here is the honest version:
Caring for a wooden fan — the guidance nobody publishes: sun is fine, that is the job. Water is not — don’t let wood soak, and store fans flat and dry between events. An engraved mark needs no care at all: it is burnt into the grain and cannot fade, rub or peel.
The choice that defines a wooden fan, and that suppliers never explain:
Eleven of the sixteen wooden models engrave, three print photo-grade colour, one screen prints — and when a model allows both routes, your quote prices both so you choose on the proof, not on a guess.
Wooden folding fans are where “as low as” pricing misleads the most: the advertised price is usually a cardboard paddle fan, and the decoration cost only appears on the quote. Ours is published — all of it:
Every figure comes from our live price list — prices verified on August 16, 2026.
“No minimum order” on a personalized wooden fan is marketing: below a few dozen pieces, the setup of an engraving or print run can’t be costed honestly — it just gets hidden in the unit price. Our floor is published instead: this range starts at 50 units, with most wooden models at 100. Custom wooden folding fans wholesale pricing applies from the very first tier — no account, no minimum spend — and buying wooden fans in bulk is where the quantity breaks bite hardest, because the blade work dominates the cost. Every order ships only after you approve the free digital proof.
Demand for folding fans is brutally seasonal — summer search volumes run at several times the winter floor, and wedding season sits right on the peak. Wooden and engraved models feel it most: blade carving and engraving hold slots longer than a paper print run. The arithmetic: quotes come back within 2 business hours, the proof usually turns in a day, production takes 17–21 days from approval (24–28 above 500 units), and freight comes on top by destination. For a June–August wedding or event, order five to six weeks ahead — and if you can decide in winter or early spring, you’ll have every slot and every model to choose from.
Almost never at event prices — genuine sandalwood (Santalum) is a protected, expensive essence. Bulk sandalwood wedding fans, ours included, are scented sandalwood-style wood: light wood, stained and perfumed. We say so on every product card; the scent and finish are real, the botany is not.
Engraving for anything meant to last: names, dates, monograms, line-art logos — burnt into the wood, it cannot fade. Printing for colour and photographs, on the wooden-rib models that carry a fabric or paper leaf. When a model takes both, we price both on the same quote.
Yes — on wooden-rib models with a fabric or bark leaf, dye sublimation fuses a photo into the leaf edge to edge with no colour limit. Send 300 dpi at print size or vector. Engraving cannot reproduce photographic detail, so we route photo artwork to the right models at the quote.
Published, not quoted: the reference grid runs from $5.58 at 50 units down to $1.44 at 2,000+ units, and each wooden model shows its own floor price on its card. Laser engraving adds $0.95 per unit, a second face $0.55. No setup fee; freight is the only line quoted separately, by destination.
50 units on this range; most wooden models start at 100 because blade carving and engraving runs cost more to set up. Wholesale quantity breaks apply from the first tier, and every order gets the free digital proof.
Five to six weeks is comfortable: proof in about a day, 17–21 days of production from approval, freight on top by destination. Summer is the demand peak and engraved wooden orders hold production slots longest — winter and spring orders get first pick.
Sun is fine — that is what a fan is for. Keep wood away from standing moisture, let a damp fan dry open before folding it, and store fans flat and dry between events. The engraving itself needs nothing: no ink, nothing to fade or peel.
Yes — personalized wooden fans for weddings are this range's core order: engraved names and date on the guard, from 50 units, wholesale pricing from the first tier, and a free digital proof before anything is carved or printed.
Different events and materials change the model, the print method and the date you need to order by — each page prices a typical order in full.
