When to order
Demand for folding fans is fiercely seasonal — searches and orders run at roughly five times the winter level from May through July, and production slots fill in the same order. The arithmetic never changes: a quote within 2 business hours, a digital proof in about a day, then the production window above and freight to your door. For a summer wedding, festival or campaign, order five to six weeks ahead and every model is available; order in winter or early spring and you also get first pick of the production calendar. We publish real windows instead of selling a “rush fee” — if your date is genuinely tight, the plain stock fans ship from one unit with no printing at all.

Do I get to see the fan before it is produced?
Yes. You receive a free digital proof showing your artwork in position on the fan. Production only starts once you approve it, so nothing is manufactured against an unchecked file.
What artwork format should I send?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) for screen printing, pad printing and laser engraving. For full-surface sublimation, vector or 300 dpi raster both work. If you only have a low-resolution logo, send it anyway and our prepress team will tell you what is achievable.
Does the price include the printing?
One imprint colour in one position is included in the unit price. Additional colours and additional positions carry a setup charge, billed once per order rather than per unit. Every quote states which is which.
Where can I buy bulk custom folding fans?

How many fans do I need for 100 wedding guests?

Can I get fans faster than the published lead time?
We publish real production windows instead of selling a rush fee — what you see on this page is what production actually takes, and the digital proof usually turns around in a day. If your date is genuinely tight, plain stock fans in six colours ship from a single unit with no printing, immediately.
Can you match my brand colours?
Screen printing and pad printing are Pantone matched. Dye sublimation runs in CMYK, so Pantone references are approximated — we flag the expected shift on the proof rather than letting you discover it on delivery.
How is shipping calculated?
Freight is quoted per destination against your delivery address and target date, separately from the unit price. Import duties and local taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
How long does a quote take?

Do you offer wholesale pricing for bulk orders?
Yes — every price on this site is a wholesale quantity break, published instead of quoted. The bigger the order, the lower the unit price, from 50 units up to 5,000 online. No account, no minimum spend: the bulk grid applies to everyone, whether you are a couple ordering wedding fans or a brand ordering ten thousand.
What is the best foldable fan?
The one that matches the job — there is no universal winner. Bamboo for eco-credentials and weddings, wood for engraving and keepsakes, plastic for outdoor and washable, paper for the sharpest print at the lowest cost, silk and lace when the fan is the gift itself. What is a Japanese folding fan called?
A sensu — the pleated folding fan on ribs that this whole site is about. Its rigid cousin, the flat paddle on a handle, is an uchiwa. We make both formats: folding fans across four materials, and round paddle fans printed edge to edge.
Can I make my own folding fans instead of ordering?
You can: buy plain stock fans from one unit and paint them or apply vinyl — a real option for a handful of pieces, and a lovely craft project. The economics flip fast though: past a few dozen, professionally printed custom folding fans with logo cost less per fan than DIY materials and hours, and survive the event better. We’d rather tell you where that line is than pretend it doesn’t exist.
